New Report Shows Air Pollution Kills 1.2 Million People in China in 2010
New scientific research data indicates air pollution was one of the main causes of death in the world’s population in 2010. The number of deaths from air pollution in China reached 1.2 million, accounting for almost 40% of the global total.

This report, entitled, “The Global Disease Burden” highlights that air pollution ranks fourth as a lethal factor in China. It follows dietary risk, hypertension, and smoking.
The report also quoted warnings released last month from the Economic Cooperation and Development Organization.
